Among the most beautifully built stations in India is the Char Bagh railway station in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. The ‘char bagh’ refers to the four gardens, which existed here earlier with Char meaning four and Bagh meaning garden. It is very easy to mistake this one with a palace owing to its architecture which resembles towers and clusters of circular Awadhi domes.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai (or Victoria Terminus or VT station as it was called earlier) is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its widely known as one of the most remarkable railway stations in the world. It has been featured in countless Bollywood movies and in a number of Hollywood movies as well.
